I’ve been going to Andrea for my haircuts for over two years. The salon is welcoming, clean, and the staff create a great environment and experience. They offer top of the line hair products for purchase as well. I recommend Douglas Carrol’s stylists to anyone in the RDU area that takes pride in their hair and only trust the experts.

I came in for a color correction knowing it would probably take a couple visits, but after only one visit I'm SO pleased with what they were able to accomplish!!!! My head was fully bleached when I came in. Sore scalp, spots of blue/silver, uneven all over as well. Now my hair feels softer, looks much more natural, and the cut is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! I've already received 3 compliments on it and it's only been a few hours since I left the salon. Very happy with the color correction and cut, and looking forward to coming back! (Drove an hour n half to get here as well... Worth it!!)

Tristen is wonderful! I had a hair highlight disaster from another salon and was leaving the next day for my niece’s wedding in Tennessee. He was so kind to me when I came in distraught and reassured me that he would do his best to make me look normal again. Like magic he worked a miracle! I make all my appointments with him now! Thank you so much Tristen!

First, I would like to say Jacob is one of the most professional and outstanding hair stylists I've ever been to, here or in Miami where I moved from. He's always in a great mood, positive and makes getting a haircut every 2/3 weeks a true pleasure. I'm very blessed to have met him. On the other hand, I used to have my hair cut with Tristen, when he left I started going to Jacob for a haircut. I guess Tristen decided to come back after I had been getting my cut with Jacob for months. I decided to stay with Jacob as I was very happy with him. Well since then, Tristen has had nothing to say to me, not even hello when I speak to him. I came extremely close to walking out today (but I have too much respect for Jacob to do that). I said Hello to Tristen in the lobby, of course he would not speak back. When I said Tristen, I said Hello to you, He mumbled back. Hey" There was a woman and her daughter sitting across from me; she even shrugged and put her hands up noticing the rudeness. I have now referred 4 regular clients to the salon. I own my own real estate business and would never treat anyone the way I'm treated by Tristen. If any of my staff pulled this childish behavior to our clients, they'd be fired. Lastly, Tristen continuously talked about the Bible when I was getting my haircut with him. I'm a devout Christian as well, but I think he and I must definitely read from different Bible's. These are not my Christian values.

Every time I visit, he makes me feel confident, beautiful, and completely taken care of. 💖 He’s not just talented — he’s an artist who truly loves what he does, and that love shows in every detail. 🎨✂️ I recently went for a haircut and some highlights, and the result was gorgeous! 💛 The color came out a bit brighter than I expected, but Douglas was so kind and professional.
